Two sports enthusiasts from Philadelphia, Frank Mitchell and Charles Ness, teamed up to create their own sports equipment company. For more than 50 years, the brand gained popularity among professional athletes, developing uniforms for major local teams like the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. In the 1980s, competition between sports equipment suppliers became fierce, and Mitchell and Ness faced challenges. However, a golden opportunity arose: a customer wanted to repair his vintage official team clothing. This was a revelation for the company, which began producing highly faithful reproductions of old baseball jerseys! After securing a deal with the MLB (Major League Baseball), Mitchell and Ness' nostalgic clothing became a huge success in the 2000s. The "throwback edition" jerseys collection was worn by major hip-hop stars like Jay-Z and rapper Fabolous.
