The 1460s are the original Dr. Martens boots. The characteristic DNA of these unisex shoes looks like this: 8 eyelets, grooves on the sides, heel tab, yellow stitching, and a comfortable air-cushioned sole.

These unisex boots are designed to last with one of the best construction methods: the Goodyear welt. This means that the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together with a Z-stitch. They are mounted on our iconic AirWair sole, resistant to oil and grease, anti-wear and slip-resistant, and are made of Arcadia leather, a two-tone rubbed effect leather designed to fade over time and reveal the shade underneath.
